PMI Mongolia Chapter organizes monthly meeting for project managers and field practitioners. This time, the monthly meeting was held in Topaz Hall of Blue Sky Hotel & Tower on 27th of February by PMI Mongolia Chapter. This time, Mrs. Enkh-Amgalan, Manager, Rangeland Ecosystem Management Project ‘Green Gold – Animal Health’ Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Mongolia was invited as our guest speaker.
She initiated the project ‘Green Gold – Animal Health’ which aimed to build the sustainable rangeland management among Mongolian herders, preserve and maintain healthy and productive homeland, produce the improved quality of livestock products resulting from better veterinary services.
Dr. Enkh-Amgalan shared her project management experience drawing the practical example of her project, and she spoke about how she adjusted the technology to the situation here, what kind of obstacles she faced, how the relation between stakeholders and government affected to the project.
In the last section of her presentation, she emphasized that pasture ecosystem of Mongolia is fully able to develop with high efficiency if we provide appropriate policy, right organization, and funding.
